Google on Wednesday began inviting people to test ride a new Wave messaging platform that merges e-mail, online chat, social networking and "wiki" style collaboration. Google says that it will send out a total of 100 1000 invitations to developers, people who where quick to sigh up to provide feedback and customers of its Google Apps products.
Google Wave is a lot more useful if your friends, family and collegues have it too so lucky invitees also get to nominate people to use the product. Wave is not quite ready for full rollout implementation but will be over the next few months as developers refine all the features of the product.
The rest of us unlucky poeple who didnt get invitations will still have to wait a while before Wave is finally released. Go here for more information about Google Wave.
