Performing for the first in Cape Tow last night, A Tanzanian Hip Hop star Mwana Fa proved to his Cape Town's fans that he is indeed the one of the best Hip Hop artist in East Africa and even Africa.

The star stepped on stage at midnight and performed for two hours straight. Performing his new and old Hits, Mwana fa moved the crowd and made everyone go crazy.

Mwana fa's performance was preceded by Blackryno's performance who just like Mwana Fa made the crowd go crazy to the point that security people had to intervene as the fans were jumping into the stage.

"I love my fans and i will do anything to make them happy" said Mwana Fa who apart from singing he is also doing his Master in finance at Coventry University in London UK

Tanzania Hip Hop Star "Mwana Fa" Live in Cape Town

Tanzanian Hip Hop Sensation KHAMISI MOHAMMED MWINJUMA aka Mwana Fa aka Binamu will be landing in town tomorrow for his performance on Sat at 4 Ways in town next to KFC parade. The show will start at 9pm but the star will step on stage at midnight.

Dj Domz, Cape Town's finest DJ (from Tanzania) will also be in the house.

Hotslice had a moment with Dj Domz he had this to say about Mwana Fa "I have seen him performing and there i s no doubt he is one of the best Hip Hop artist in East Africa 'I'm looking forward to his performance as i have not seen him performing outside Tanzania cant wait to see what he can offer the Cape Town crowd."

Gossip Girl Star "B" Really Born in Prison?

Rumor has it that Leighton Meester akan Blair Waldorf was born while her mother was serving a prison sentence in Texas. Technically, she was born in a halfway house affiliated with the prison, but was taken away when her mother was ordered to return to her cell three months later, according to Star magazine.

The Gossip Girl star's mother was allegedly investigated for heading up a $250 million-a-year drug-smuggling operation. She and her "employees" supposedly brought in 13,000 pounds of marijuana from Jamaica, according to Star.

As if that weren't enough, the tabloid goes on to claim that her aunt, father, and even grandfather all spent time in federal prisons. What for? You guessed it--drug dealing.

Considering the fact that you can't exactly make federal records go away, if this turns out to be true, Leighton's PR team is in for serious spinning.

Michael Jackson''s sister La Toya has said that the King of Pop’s ghost has been visiting the family dressed in the white pearl beads he wore in the coffin.

The 53-year-old onetime Playboy cover girl said that the ‘Thriller’ star has appeared "in the curtains" while the lights were out. "His eyes were open and he appeared peaceful. I turned the lights on and asked, ''Michael, do you wish to go to the other side?''

La Toya has also claimed that her famous brother''s ghost has flicked the lights on in his house to let her know he''s there.

She said that her manager Jeffre Phillips and sister Janet have also seen the star''s spirit but mother Katherine, a strict Jehovah''s Witness, has refused to accept that her son''s ghost walks the earth.

Music Used to Torture Suspected Terrorists.

It's no Jack Bauer tactic but recently it has come to light that some popular musicians' songs are being used to torture Guantanamo Bay detainees. A document released by the American National Security Archive names music from 35 artists or popular theme songs. Some of the named musicians are Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Limp Bizkit, Metalicca, Pink, Prince, Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Redman and Tupac Shakur.

The artists named in this document are not by any means the only musicians whose work is being used to extract terrorist information from suspected detainees. A coalition of artists, including R.E.M and Pearl Jam also want to know if their music is being used. The artists have endorsed a series of Freedom of Information Act requests filled against the U.S. government to declassify documents that would reveal more names of artists whose music is being used as a means of torture. In the past, several former Guantanamo detainees have filed lawsuits against the U.S. government, saying they were tortured with numerous techniques, one of which was the the constant playing of loud music.

One cannot imagine being forced to listen to the likes of Britney Spears all day, everyday... It might be the true embodiment of torture.

Good news for Chuck fans!

Thought you were going to have to wait until March to catch up with Chuck Bartowski? Not any more! According to a report from Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, the premiere of Chuck's third season might take place as soon as late October.

There's no firm date but he also reports that "NBC insiders who've seen the first four episodes are calling this season the best yet... If Chuck does come back sooner rather than later, the chances of NBC ordering additional episodes beyond the 13 it initially commissioned increases dramatically."

Looks like October just got a lot more interesting!

Tuesday TV Madness!!!

We can now officially hail in the beginning of 2009/2010 TV year. Tuesday shows are coming back in full force today. At the top of our list of must sees is Hugh Laurie's House. We pick up were we left off with Dr House in the psych ward where he committed himself at the end of last season.

How I Met Your Mother returns for its 5th season. Ted will be pursuing his new life's direction as he teaches architecture classes and of course all eyes will be on Robin and Barney's romance and if/how that will progress.

Heroes blasts off with a two hour premier, boasting lots of new cast members and significant story arcs. We also see the return of Two And A Half Men, as well as The Big Bang Theory. And with shows like Greek and Gossip Girl already airing, Tuesdays are looking about as exciting as they were meant to be.

Obama calls Kanye West a Jackass

As we previously reported, Kanye West stormed the stage in New York to tell the crowd Beyonce should have won the prize for best female video. Since then, he has called Swift personally to apologize.

Mr Obama had this to say about the incident: "I thought it was inappropriate, it's like she's getting an award, why are you butting in?... The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person, she's getting her award, what's he doing up there?"

He then made an off the record comment while chatting with a CNBC reporter: "He's a jackass." The comments came to light after ABC News staff mentioned them on Twitter. The network said some of its employees had overheard a conversation between the president and the reporter and did not realise it was off the record.

The network apologised to the White House and CNBC and removed the Twitter posts. West, who was booed every time he appeared on stage after the incident, wrote on his blog afterwards about how sorry he was to have ruined Swift's big moment.
